I almost died... 1:1 and red card at 80th minute.. But then that strike from Kroos in the last minute... I feel so terrible but so happy at the same time! Deutschland über alles!!! #-o

Well, good call by Loew bringing in so many CDs. Hummels out and now Boateng suspended.

Do know what you were watching. You probably say Boateng was the best player.

Let’s give Kroos a break today. He certainly deserves it. Awesome free kick and didn’t play bad after that blunder. Cold blood on that ahole. Loved it.

Do you think Goretzka would form a better pair with Kroos? He is basically a better Khedira, way better box to box mid

Yes. I'm sure that they are going to be very good duo. The ability to read the game is a rare gift even for top class footballers. Goretzka has it, like Kroos. Like Kroos and Khedira, Goretzka is ruthless in man-on-man situations, his passing is above average, he creates chances for team mates and has impressive pace. When running with the ball at his feet, it appears as if the ball is glued there.

He has changed nutrition after examining the causes for a slow recovery rate, injuries and stomach problems together with medical specialists. As he now avoids pork, dairy products, nuts and gluten things, he feels significantly better - so much so that Goretzka claims to have more energy and not to get so tired as he did in the past.

I can't wait to see him playing with Kroos and with the Bayern shirt !

Take away from the game.
1. Muller sucks. He cannot start on his current form and playing him out wide must never happen again.
2. Kroos is quality and yes he did make that errand pass but that happened once Rudy was off. He needs to play in a three man midfield.
3. Reus and Brandt must start the next game as the wingers. Draxler is a damn waste!
4. Boateng did what he does best. Cause his team pain at the worst possible time. Hopefully Hummels recovers quick and Süle must come in!
5. Gundogan is a predictable and weak minded player. I would play Goretzka over him.
6. Against Park the bus teams, Gomez has to start. Preferably both him and Werner.
7. Neuer looked good today, apart from that small slip but he readjusted in time for it.

My heart is still pounding too fast after that rocket of a winner! And finally a perfect prediction for me!

Credit to the guys on the pitch .

After Brandt hitting the post, I thought that was it but not these guys. They weren't bogged down by negative thoughts. Case in point, Kroos with the freekick. He gave the ball away for the goal and could have said to himself, I may hit the first defender trying to go for the far corner, best to play safe and cross it in the box, but he only had one thought in mind =D>

By my calculations a win vs South Korea by 2 goals puts Germany through irrespective of the result in rhe other game.

Not to far off from an accurate description for a player with zero skill & speed. Apparently he has high goal impact. Well we can see why. Does nothing but he'll get a goal impact of +1 for this game.

The quicker Bayern and the NT move on from Mueller the quicker a more cohesive and threatening attack can be assembled.

The problems in the campaign so far are clearly Loews fault. The friendlies before the WC exhibited all the current problems we are seeing. No speed in build up play, susceptibility to counters with a lack of a true DM etc etc but he chose to ignore all of that and has to now solve the problems during the tournament.

It took one game to realize Ozil bogs the side down and hopefully he has after the second starting Muller is starting with ten men. Start with Brandt or anyone else for that matter and let Muller come of the bench if we are chasing the game to feed off scraps and make something happen.

The Koreans are no slouches. Mexico opened them up with speed and quick passing. Germany will have to do the same.
