Gomez with Werner Reus Brandt behind him for Korea, Werner’s underlapping and speed helped unlock that left side

I still stand by my opinion. Germany should have lost this and gone out, the only way for changes is failure, and Germany needs a lot of changes in both the coaching staff and players, from selection to mentality.

Call him that he is not a big time player, comeone.
Do you think Goretzka would form a better pair with Kroos? He is basically a better Khedira, way better box to box mid

I never had a good impression of Brandt mostly because he is slow and looks like he is going to die after a while but I would start him instead of the very disappointing Mueller.

Goretzka is more physical than Gundogan and offers more of a goal threat, I think the entire forum wants him paired with Kroos lol

Would Boateng miss the 1/8 if Germany go through?

I think the entire nation of Germany wants that as well, all but one stubborn man, who deserved to be sacked right now

No, it's an indirect red so 1 match ban is the punishment

I don’t know much about Brandt. He hasn’t impressed me much tbh. But for the love of God what a super sub!

Mueller is like an amateur player. Painful to watch #-o

Gomez almost sent Germany back home doing a GOMEZ #-o

Guendogan, Reus and Hector are totally out of form. They play like my grandpa #-o

But there are many positives.

Bringing Gomez in gives more space to other players in the box. This is very good for Werner who was harmless playing as lone striker

Low crosses have been very productive against a packed defense like the Swedish.

Julian Brandt is playing the Schuerrle rol very well. Not sure if I want him to start or let him be the joker.

This goal will give Kroos a huge boost of confidence

Looking forward to seeing Goretzka in the next match. He could make the difference against a small team like South Korea
