Only good decision was Hummels for Mertsucker in fact the opposite would have been a crime
Lahm on the left = mess
Reus / Goetze / Shcurrle in the bench for lame Poldi and Muller = CRIME
Subs = Usual Fail
Performance = mess

Neuer - 8 - great save at the end and good at clearing high balls. Could/should have prevented the second ball from hitting the crossbar.
Lahm - 6.5 - not one of his finest moments
Badstuber - 8 - sacrificed a booking with a tactical foul and was solid throughout
Hummels - 8.5 - MOTM - a beast in defence and showed leadership to take the ball high upfield at times. He's captain material in future, for sure.
Boateng - 8 - Had the unenviable task of marking Ronaldo and got the better of him more often than not, including a world class tackle to prevent a clear chance.
Khedira - 7 - Provided the cross to Gomez, albeit it being deviated by a Portuguese defender's arm
Schweinsteiger - 6.5 - Not his usual self, clearly still out of form.
Podolski - 5 - Only Loew knows why he wasn't subbed out. Persists in shooting practically every time he gets the ball, but his accuracy wasn't any good.
Oezil - 7 - Not too much wizardry from the creative player.
Mueller - 7.5 - Worked hard but his final pass was generally missing the attacker by inches. Missed a good chance in the first half.
Gomez - 8 - Great goal in what would have otherwise been his last action. Humorously, he has Boateng to thank who didn't notice the subs board and proceeded with starting the play again, leaving Klose waiting on the touchline. Unlucky in that he wasn't awarded another goal in the first half, with the referee inexplicably pulling play back in order to award a freekick to Germany.
