FML Everytime I remember Khedira is there I want to go Hannibal on everybody. The dude hasn't done anything to merit going to Brazil unless he goes there as a tourist. Arrrrggghhh
I'd rather stare at Grosskreutz face than him.
Any news on Ronaldo? Haven't seen anything new after him leaving training early.
Saw in Kickoff episode, even most Portuguese people doesn't know (or don't give an f) about anyone in their NT besides CR7. lol

Let's put it this way. Khedira has the talent. For all we know he might play well and we'd all be happy with him. However, I think it's unlikely, and so it would be a mistake to start him (unless he's doing really well in training).

He featured in their last friendly. He played like 60 minutes, gave an assist, hit the post and had a couple of goal chances. He even said after the match that he is 99% fit
A German giant with an Achilles heel will face a respected, but much weaker rival when taking center stage on Monday at the World Cup in Brazil. With or without Ronaldo, this should be a manageable game.
[quote="FCBayernMunchen"]I think this is our best lineup for this game:
Perhaps Grosskreutz instead of Boateng/Merte (he'll play in midfield with other players moving around).[/quote
I hope that we don't see the false Nine... especially Goetze...
Some posts ago I said something similar as in those 10questions you've posted before; that is to have double marking on CR7. In a 4-3-3 formation. The RCM along the RB The RCM can be either Grosskreautz with Lahm RB or Lahm RCM with Boa as RB.
let me do it again here: this is my ideal formation:
I would not mind Gorsskreutz to play as RCM and Lahm RB with Boa replacing Howedes as LB and Goetze instead of Poldi. We need muscle - Low should have take yest match as an example, Italy just stayed calm and do what matters most while England played similar of what has Germany showed us in the last couple of years - finesse football which leads you nowhere.

I actually want to see Podolski/Schurrle as striker and Gotze on the left wing (which is his best position in my opinion), but I don't think Loew would do that so I'm hoping for the same players but in different positions. They will probably rotate during the game anyway. I have high hopes for Gotze in this world cup.
The RB question is the one I'm unsure about. On the one hand I think a Schweinsteiger-Lahm-Kroos trio in midfield would probably be the best midfield in the world cup. It can do everything well: win the ball, retain possession, create chances... On the other hand I am unsure about having anyone other than Lahm as RB, especially against Portugal.
Bayernbazi wrote:This does not look good. There seem to be reports about a clinic visit for an MRI scan for Schweinsteiger. Anyone knows some more detail ?
In any case, I'd prefer if Kroos started in place of him tomorrow. Even if the injury is gone, he doesn't seem to be fit and I wouldn't want him to risk getting injured and/or perform badly in the opening match. Let's keep him for later.
* It's strange that Özil is likely going to start. Schürrle has been much better than him. I guess Özil has trained well in Brazil. * After those two preparation games Poldi deserves to start as a left winger. * With Khedira and Lahm, both in midfield, I think Germany lack's of creativity. * There is only Kroos, who can score from distance. * Germany is going to have 60 % or more possesion.
