He sucked. Big time. Boateng was doing triple duty for the entire match. Hell, at one point he was near the corner flag and I just thought, God, this is truly awful.

I think Mustafi will play in at RB and Howedes will be shifted to the left in place of Hector. That would make a formidable defensive unit. The attackers will need to be more "awake" than the first game though with defensive-minded fullbacks behind them.

Löw will want to keep at least one attack-minded fullback in the squad. Müller suffered greatly from having the utterly inept Höwedes play behind him. I wonder, if Germany wins against Poland, will they try a three-man defense in their final game?

I see what you did there. Maximise the number of Bayern/ex-Bayern players and you get your best possible team. Can for Khedira?

It's not that he did anything wrong as much as that Boateng-Hummels won Germany the world cup, Hummels is the more established defender, he is probably better despite Mustafi's season, and we are now biased towards him.

The way I see it, last time they met, Germany won 3-1 and was pretty mediocre at that time. Now, Schweini and Hummels are fit, the team is starting to pick up steam, and I see them winning this game, but it also heavily depends on the lineup. Low must play with a striker, not Gotze, and Howedes has to be replaced at RB, possibly by Mustafi (although he didn't play well in the WC at that position). Lewandowski and Milik might be a hassle up front, but hopefully Hummels and Boateng can cope. I don't see the Polish defense stopping Germany too well.

Most things point to Germany winning so all I can do is hope we make a surprise here. I think Poland will score but I think Germany will also score so Im betting 2:1 for Germany or if we're lucky - 1:1.
