Because DFB renewed his contract right BEFORE the WC...so firing him will result in a loss they can't afford. Not back then and not now.

It is not the strong one that wins, the one that wins is strong.

That was a masterclass on the last goal. Lost the ball cluelessly, runs back and actually saw Wijnaldum’s run, followed up, closed him down to then slow down in the last second for absolutely no reason to let him tap it in. Total brain fart.
I write 'Karma' on my money to make sure it comes back.

Good luck.
Hahahahhaa. Holland destroyed Germany in their own backyard. Great football.

Good luck with that defense!

And to top it all, there is also a farce about the choreo. The DFB planned to unveil 'VOLLGAS' but when people started sharing the instructions over social media there was a backlash from a lot of snowflakes. They scared the DFB that the word was offensive to the Dutch, and the DFB came up with this genius quick fix.

It looks like the main aim of stadia in Germany has become to send messages and teach moral lessons rather than the place were to play football with the objective to win.Image

Is that a rumor or a fact?

Also I doubt it has much influence on the team...

Where is this being played?

Hamburg. Coincidentally, the last time that Germany played The Netherlands in Hamburg was the 1988 EURO semifinal, hands down the best 2 teams in the world at the time but Germany as host had the advantage and went ahead right after halftime with Matthäus scoring a penalty, only to be equalized 20 minutes later by another penalty converted by Koeman who was on the bench today, then a late goal by Van Basten with 2 minutes to play send The Netherlands to the final where they beat Russia for their only International title ever.

I imagine that the booing has to do with all this, the memories of 1988.

(Showing my age again, LOL)
