With Kroos, yes, bu Podolski? I mean, Reus and Müller can do all the backpasses he does, but also occasionally threaten going forward.

We should have had Muller instead of Podolski. 8 Bayern players would have looked nice :)

Loew high as f*ck, fielding weird lineup and sh*t.

On a more serious note, I think possession football is actually a pretty good idea. Italy kinda remind me of Germany in 2010 ( Attacking football etc.), and we all know how the match against Spain went back in 2010, I think we could see something similar (Boring as hell but efficient). Plus if we wanna silence Pirlo i think possession is the way to go.

I do agree with you there. No point in Poldi other than perhaps having a natural left footed player aiming to supply crosses to our big man upfront. Poorly justifiable though.

truth it they will be switching position a lot. I even expect Ozil to play more on the right than Kroos.

So this could be like another predictable and boring Bayern game this season where we have 80% possession but we just can't score

I hope Löw knows what is he doing but I'm not sure about this lineup.

Loew is risking a lot putting Kroos instead of Muller / Reus / Goetze there.

Also Gomez will have his chance to prove that he can score in big games.

He tends to spend quite a bit of time there during games. Gives him a better chance to pair up with the ST if the full back is a douchebag.
Kroos CAM? I guess he got all his unused rollover minutes for this one. Good luck to him btw.

Nice to see 7 Bayern players in the lineup though. I think Kroos might me a good choice. Müller hasn't been as consistent to start. Plus with Löw eventually being Bayern's coach ;) its great he is relying on Bayern players. He could have made it all 8 Bayern German players -- but Özil is great and we could always make him a Bayern member

A strong Italy lineup. I hope we score first, that will change defensive Italian tactics.
