No, De Rossi is not in the starting Xi! [source]

EDIT: seems like BILD guessed both formations correctly =D>

Why again experiments Loew? Come on

Why before this game?

I want to believe it'll work out. With De Rossi out and an added CB for us Italy should theoretically find it very very hard to score. I'm just scared that they haven't seriously experimented with 3 at the back and an impenetrable defence will end up looking like lost chickens (like the whole team did in 2012). It's just a risk that's added a lot of stress to me but it might work out.

How are we going to score against them with Draxler out too though? :|

This. It might work, but there's no reason to change a winning team with so fluency in the play as they showed in the last two games.

At least he didn't brought Goetze in for Gomez

Hopefully if it isn't working he won't be afraid to make the sub BEFORE we go 1 down.

The worst thing is that any surprise element it might have had on Conte was probably lost thanks to Bild.

A goal from Gomez today may change my mind about him. Time for him to step up in big matches.

And Muller, he isn't himself in this Euro. I hope this will change, starting today.

This is stupid to try a new system, but we have the capable players of switching to a proven system. Kimmich cam move to CDM role, with Kroos moving more advanced. The back four would be Howedes, Hummels, Boateng, and Hector.

As much as I like him it would have made more sense to drop him instead of Draxler. Now please score and prove me wrong.

What worries me is that the fastest two players, Eder and Florenzi, are up against the slowest German player, Höwedes.

I think Loew's reasoning is also that this allows Kimmich and Hector to be more offensive as their crosses will be needed tonight. Still, that's bound to expose us more to counters...

No. No. Müller always plays. It is a must.
