Although the goal was happy, Germany has won deservingly.

There was also the possibility, that the game ends higher than only 1:0.

Lahm: Had Duff controlled any time. As usual, persuasive.
Schweinsteiger: Had given everything and had bad luck with the post shot shortly before end.
Podolski: As usual, you have seen his effort.Luck by the goal, but anyway ^^

Yeah, I have to admit, Poldi's shot had a bit of luck there. If it hadn't been for Keane's foot, it would've went wide.
3 yellow cards for Germany. Schweini crashed into a player, but I don't know about the other 2. Any info anyone?

I didn't get to see the match either. Liveticker is my lifeline lol.

The other yellow Cards after an attack were from Klose and Schneider

Thanks. How did Ballack do? It was his first international match after his hip injury. All I know is he totally missed an easy header

I thought Ballack coulda played better to be honest. They all seemed a bit loose, the commentator kept saying they were trying to settle and Ireland was stopping them + he was right. Ireland were so strong, I was shocked.
