he is suspended for the rest of the tournament.after the group phase.he was among the referees to whistle for the remaining matches.

its not so fair for him since it was obvious that he was following uefa's plan for the typical host's-referee boost we all know from the past tournament's.biggest example at north korea's WC

You mean South Korea and I still think the red card was deserved. Besides, Greece played better with ten men, so he helped you in reality :)

yes south.sorry

yes its true that greece played better with ten men but both yellows was wrong.first yellow was a total joke and the second was a foul but the polish player was all ready falling before sokratis touched him.referee was just waiting for an excuse to leave greece with 10 men.

also there was a disallowed goal-offside for salpingidis who made the 2-1.also penalty was denied when a polish defender slipped and ball went to his hand.if alabas hand was a penalty against madrid when he slipped then this was twice a penalty.plus all the wrong whistle's against greece in the rest of the game.

After this tournament I want to be singing "We Are The Champions" not "Just Don't Come Home Too Soon".
Jesus saves, but Kahn does it better ;)

Why would the Polish player already be falling/diving when he would have been through 100% on goal? Surely a goal chance would have been preferred. For me the first yellow was harsh, but the second yellow was lenient and should have been a red. Anyone who illegally stops a player from such a 100% chance and who is the last man should always be given a straight red card, no matter how mild the foul was. Similarly, the Polish keeper didn't make a savage foul and was (rightly) red carded.

100% on goal?he was 40 meters away and also he is just a mediocre polish player not messi :mrgreen:also the greek left back was on his way in case he was going for goal.

there is no need to fight for those things.lets stay back and enjoy the game united as bayern fans that we are.

there is a huge gap between the teams and greece has very little chances to make something good ,but this is the magic of football.anything can happen.
we lost the CL in our home

Hmm... I'm not sure I like this. True, even if Germany play with a B team they are still better than Greece quality wise, but this game has more at stake than the Denmark game. I'm ok if one of Klose/Schurrle/Reus start, together with Kroos (who doesn't seem to be starting), but all of them?

I'll just hope for the best, I guess

Podolski hasn't played well this tournament.

But I see no point in dropping Gomez as we all know he needs to start as he's not as much of an impact sub as Klose.

then you are the one who opted for that surprise in the poll above .aren't you ?
i really wish Greece will win
its economic strenght back soon ! and why not even punish those corrupted leaders . can't the Greeks learn from the arab world !! [-o<
back to the game : luck aside , and with Klose (kidding Gomiss's lovers ) as a striker , i predict an easy comfortable win .
p.s ; literary speaking , who shall be kidding Gomiss's lovers , Klose or me ??

LOw purposefully denied Klose the chance to beat Muller's record when he opted for Gomiss in many games so far instead of klose  !! who dares to say why ??

You are that fielding 4 players from the bench is not a good move, not because they do not the quality but because they are not in the rhythm of the competition (I am not expecting too many changes in the line up myself)

I do not agree that this game has more at stake that the Denmark game. Germany played most of the Denmark game (with the socre 0:0 or 1:1)with no room for a mistake. Just one mistake and Germany could have been sent home from the group stage: that's something big at stake!
