And Klose's doubtful, having missed Lazio's last match.

Perhaps we'll get to see Goetze or Mueller in attack then, though I guess Podolski and Schürrle are also options.

Germany's really crying for a young great pure striker. The promise of Samed Yeşil seems to have faded. Nils Petersen slipped down in the expected grades. I wonder what will happen when Klose retires... it will only be Gomez and some subpar youngster.

I'd love to see Schurrle. On the other hand I like Lassoga & Volland but if I am not mistaken I think both are out inj right.

Volland played for the Under 21's last night against Spain.

In terms of a striker, Loew should copy Pep and play Muller or Gotze as a false number 9 :pep:

Can't we just have Pep managing both?? 70% of the German squad already plays for Bayern so...

Would avoid a lot of re-work. :P

They have Sanchez, don't they?

I always thought of him as a co-striker. Him the nine, Messi the eleven. Winger? I am really not sure.

I wonder how the AM's will perform having 3 CAM's. I assume it'll be:

I think this will end in a draw or a loss for Germany.

Jansen is injured, I think at the ankle. Schmelzer comes on for him.

Kroos has played many misplaced passes till now.

It really will be a problem for Loew when Mueller and Reus are fit. Only one of Kroos/Gotze/Ozil will play, assuming Lahm plays at CM.
