Question is whether this will translate into anything for the senior team. The 2017 winners haven’t resulted in anyone of note other than Gnabry... a far cry compared to the 2009 winners (Neuer, Boateng, Hummels, Howedes. Ozil, Khedira...)

To be honest I was pretty impressed both in 1/2 and in the final. Pretty promising team (not as good as the class of 09 but still). 2-3 players at least should become next "big thing" for us.

I think the 2019 squad (finished runners up) have bigger names than 2017.

Aint he the guy that scored in the bvb u19 and lower goal en goal en goal but couldnt dent a package of butter at the pro's? Ah yeah him.. Nmecha has shown already more without being that hyped up.. =D>

So the youth teams won more EC's compared to the pro's since 1996 with way inferior squads. Who would have thought.

vs

the 22 year old in the jupiter league who scored 21 goals across 41 matches in 3434 mins across all 3 competitions putting him at a goal every 164 mins

You know how much i care about this dumb statistic about how many goals a minute? [/--------------------------] Caremeter.. Its as saying for someone scored a goal in his first match, in the first minute and has a career ending injury seconds later, that his goal score rate is at 1 minute per goal. BeSt EvAh..

No sorry, for all the damn hype that was in Germany surrounding him about how a big of a messiah he was in the u19 and below, that he was even going to amaze in the Buli, he just utterly sucked at the pro's tbh. Playing time or not. I said it before, in the Buli its a different sport. And please dont come with because of Haaland etc etc. Could say the same thing about Lewa and Choupo ( age shouldnt matter with all that hype right )

Anyway, thats the reason why i dont buy all this crap hype about 17/18/19 year olds.

He has 3 goals in a top 4 league at an age before Nmecha made his debut. Nmecha is still on 0 goals in a top 4 league despite being 6 years older. It's not even close.

Utterly sucked? He was prolific and then got injured. Haaland is on camera saying how this kid is so much better than he was at the same age. Who's vouching for Nmecha who's already played for 5 clubs and it seems no one really wants to keep him?

Did an 18 year old steal your girlfriend or something? Like every thread there’s a rant from you about teenage players. I’m surprised you even bothered to watch the u21 euros since they are all spoiled and lazy

Stefan Kuntz guy is an absolute legend. He's taken 3 talentless U21 German generations to 3 consecutive Euro finals winning two of them

Brazzo is the reason he's not going to replace Loew.

In the past I was watching some U-21 tournaments. Now, I simply don't have the time even to watch every CL K.O match.

Is this German U-21 squad so talentless ?
Wirtz, Adeyemi, Baku, Maier are good footballers, the first three are looking very very promising.

Dorsch was playing really, really good all tournament. It's looking like he's really stepping up his game in Gent.
