Wolfgang Niersbach (DFB president) also said that they want to extend Löw's contract before the World Cup takes place. And he talked about Germany's friendlies before the world cup.

Germany will play against France in Paris on February 6th. Then a road trip to America in the summer where they will face USA and Ecuador. Then a friendly against Brazil in August is not confirmed but it seems very likely

And if Germany qualifies for the WC they will play two away friendlies in Italy and England in November

It's also very likely that Germany will play againt Chile in March next year too

What squad would you want to see on WC 2014?

Mine:

Neuer - Lahm, Boateng, Hummels, Schmelzer - Khedira, Schweinsteiger - Gotze, Ozil, Reus - Gomez(Muller)

Muller - if he can pull of being a striker.
Boateng - so Hummels can play as a left centerback.

I think in 1,5 years this line-up will be deadly.

Depends a lot on what the form at the time is, but at the moment I'd say Badstuber instead of Boateng, and Muller must play somehow. Probably instead of Gotze, but that depends. Kroos could also find his place instead of Ozil but there is a lot of competition.

I would put Muller before Gotze half a year ago, not now. I dont think Low can afford to ignore Gotze's developement, if Mario continues to play like this he will be an absolute top player after season 13/14, it will be a crime not to play him.

AGREED! Muller is a game changer, he is the NT's savior in big games. His never say die attitude is the type of mentality the team needs right now. Its scientific law that things go wrong when Muller isn't playing
