I wouldn't mind that. Maybe he'll kick some passion into them.

Well maybe combativeness, but definitely not passion :P Plus, he would kick out the attractive playing style.

Low wants NT to be more pro-active. Finally some sense!

"We will have to completely change our tactics – which used to be, 'if we have the ball we are active, if not we drop back'"

"Our aim in the next months will be to play a high pressing game, even against attacking sides.

This is what he said before the EUROs.

I wouldn't get too excited. Not until we see those words in effect on the field.Actions speak louder than words, and as Quaazi said, he said that before the Euros too, and we all know how much of a failure that tournament was.( Which speaks volumes of the NT's level, considering they reached the semis.)

Tbh I think not being as reactive as at the world cup was the biggest problem at the EUROs.

Really?`I'd say the first time Löw made a reactive move to his opponent was the whole Kroos debacle against Italy.

Yeah, I was so damn angry about that. The whole formation spelled out:

Dear Italy,

we are scared shitless of playing you. Please don't beat up on us too bad.

Thanks and kind regards,

Germany.

A team can't play reactive football when it's considered the main favorite to the title.Reactive football can only be used efficiently by underdog teams. You can't really play reactive football when your opponents are huddled up and just taking the blows.

I'm saying something like Dortmund or Madrid. These teams are considered favourites in most games they play.

As for the Italy game, it was stupid to change style halfway through the tournament in a game in which we would've been the superior team on any regular day.

I have to agree that statistically speaking, no European team has won WC in South America.

Then again no European team had won a WC outside Europe and in the last WC the final was between 2 Europeans teams, so things chance.
