BILD: Everyone is raving about Benny Henrichs: Jogi Löw - here comes the future

He is a skilled AM, but plays as LB and RB at Leverkusen. Henrichs career is running on, the U-21 will not be his last DFB station - good full-backs are always needed in the national team.

Rudi Völler: "His development in the last six months is incredible."

Me: Neverkusen has to have the next biggest fullback prospect, shit.

From what I read England ran wild in this warm-up tournament in Croatia trashing also the hosts and Greece. I am asking myself if this has any meaning at all, like: is this an indication that now their senior side has a realistic chance to beat Costa Rica or Iceland?

Mario Gomez won't be part of Germany's squad for #GERCZE and #GERNIR due to a gluteal injury.

You should find a replay of the game vs. Dortmund. He was great, played on the left first, then on the right. Had a good season 2015/16, too. Tah was very good again, too.

The new Podolski? Maybe they know something in Köln that we don't.
Anyway I was not a big fan of Hector at first and always though he was a temporary fix but he has been growing steadily as a reliable Left Back that meets the team's needs. There are some younger fullbacks breaking through from the U21 but they won't be able to challenge him until 2-3 years from now.
Benni Höwedes is his only real competition for the spot right now but besides being 2 years older he is not a fullback by trade.

Benjamin Heinrichs seems to be good at LB although he is natural midfielder who ussually plays RB ( xD ). If he does really well this season (and he is doing very well so far), he should be able to compete with Hector (who I personally find pretty underwhelming).
