The only thing he needs to do is drop Poldi, Poldi + JLO = true love.
I wouldn't mind seeing him coach Bayern after Pep.(I don't think we'd hire another auslander after Pep, however I rate Benitez highly...)

I am not huge Podolski fan but I dont think you just drop a guy still in his 20s with 121 caps and 47 goals. There's plenty of room on a 23 man roster for Poldi, especially without Lahm, Per and Miro. He shouldn't start but if Reus, Draxler and Schurrle are all out he is not the worst option. I would sooner drop Bellarabi.
And congrats to Knoche. This was an overdue call up. Robin Knoche is awesome and better than Ginter, Hector, Rudiger or Mustafi. Now he needs to bring up Jantschke in the new year.

What the hell has Podolski done since 2008 in the NT... not much tbh.. Muller came, conquered and beated the shit out of him.. Poldi is done and shouldnt even be called up since he doesnt even play at Arsenal..

It's beyond me how Podolski still plays semi-regularly for the NT. But Loew knows I guess.

Do you guys think Jantschke is the RB solution?

And that has to impress me or what? In games that didnt matter anymore i can shine aswell.. In games that mattered he was often nowhere to be seen, one of the most hyped and overrated players off all time if you ask me. Especially in the NT after 2008..

I said Podolski doesnt matter anymore since 2008 ;) He failed @ Bayern ( many injuries aswell ) and with Arsenal the same.. Hardly ever plays and with the NT its a looooooooooooooong time ago that he had a good game tbh.. Same goes for Ozil..

Podolski is Loew's greatest love... Others would've dumped him ages ago. If Loew will be the manager for the next WC, I wouldn't be surprised to see Podolski again.

Well Podolski didn't get any minutes in the WC, maybe Löw just values his experience and personality for the dressing room. With no Klose, Lahm and probably Schweini around, Germany will need experienced guys for WC2018, even if they don't play.

He is the third most-capped player in German history, with 120 caps. Thanks to Loew.
