I hope Ozil is benched and based on Low's other preferences we go with something like this, Draxler could be in for Schürrle or Kruse which could reshuffle the line up as well :

Most likely he will go with this:

Any specific reason why Sebastian Jung hasn't been called up?

It looks like Löw is calling him for a single game every 2 years, so his next call is due in 2016.

Being a permanent figure in Germany youth teams anyone would have thought that he was going to have some continuity on the senior side but this happens with a few players: Andreas Beck is a good example.

Wow, more German players playing abroad called up than German players playing for Bayern. When was the last time this happened?

Loew prefers Rudy over Jung looks like it. At least Rudy can play as CDM if need arises. Maybe that's why, Loew misses Lahm.

I am pretty sure that it happened in the early 90's when Matthaus, Brehme, Klinsmann, Voeller, Berthold, Reuter, Kholer and Hassler were playing all in Italy at the same time, actually it might have been the only time in history.

Germany in obvious crisis. I just hope they won't completely broke after World Cup title, that would be totally anti-German style. After WC 2006, Germany were always great, brutal, productive in qualifications for all competitions, but this is the first time after more than 9-10 years that it's not going well and convincingly.

That's the worst what can happen - get complacent, saturated.

Maybe it was not very wise by Loew to stay put.

I've seen Germany play worse than they did in the past two matches, and still come away with a win.

I'm not sure that there is much fundamentally wrong with Germany just now. They are a team in transition and, while I have good hopes for some of the newcomers like Bellarabi and Durm, it's a struggle to replace so many experienced players who have retired or are out injured.

That said, the results need to start flowing soon. This has become a very interesting, competitive group, and the unthinkable possibility of Germany missing out on qualifying is still unlikely but not as unlikely as it was.

There's still plenty of matches too early to be nervous especially with the injuries to the main stars. Loew either commit to a 3 man CB wingback system of Bayern to solve the fullbacks shortage or field proper fullbacks instead of CBs. The lack of leadership is clearly seen in this young German squad. No one urging the team to keep the focus, keep playing, keep moving forward.
