This is a very hard game for Germany after Gomez got injured and the only way they can win this game is if Thomas Muller shows up and score a brace or a hattrick. If he doesnt show up then Germany are going to lose its as simple as that.

Really hoping Schweini is fit. If he is not, gotta admit I don't watch the EPL too much so I don't know how good Can is. I trust Weigl for some insane reason. Just feels like Can is the #3 of very similar players while Weigl is a different, more intelligent player. Unless we are lining up with three at the back again, in which case I'd feel like having Weigl and Kroos would be redundant with so few targets up front to pick out.

Edit: or what other people said. :/

the fact that Penaldo is in the final is already a morale killer for me... let alone all these injures and the unnessaserily ban to Hummels.

Honestly speaking, the moment that Iceland scored that last-second winner against Austria in the group stage, I looked at the people around and told them to congratulate Ronaldo on winning the Euro :D It's looking a lot likely to happen now. I think Germany is the only team with a big enough chance to kick them out.

Tonight is the game between the best two sides in Europe (and probably the world). France have an excellent midfield and attacking units, but an average back line. Germany are more balanced, but defense seems to be their best department this time around due mainly to many unfortunate absences. Muller needs to find his scoring boots if they are to make use of France's problems at the back. This will be his game. Everyone can do their job well, but the real Muller is needed to progress. I think this game will be one of the best this tournament with open play and a lot of chances both ways. Let's go Germany!!

Why are you worried about a player/team that Germany trashed in 2014 and beat them in 2006, 2008, and 2012/

I don't know... I have a bad feeling... it seems that the football gods are with him ... Plus he needs an excuse to get another ballon d'LOL
They are not playing spectacular football but effective.
It would be a steal if they win it...

I wouldn't worry much if Germany makes the finals against Portugal. With recent history and current form in mind, I think chances will be like 80-20 for Germany. France would be a much preferred opponent for Portugal.
