It was A CLEAR PENALTY, don't blame the ref, he made a perfect call. You don't use your hand as a head ever. There is no excuse for his hand being there, I repeat - clear penalty.

I want to forget this Euro... asap.

We found a competent replacement for Lahm, but we can't say the same for Klose. The moment Gomez got injured it was gonna be uphill; worrying thing is that I don't see any player to play as 9 for Germany in the near future. Germany doesn't produce them anymore.

You can't be more stupid than Germany when it comes to defending. They look amateurs, Really. All they had to do is clear the ball away.
If this is useful for something, please no more Low. And (hard to say it) thanks for everything Schweinsteiger, it's time for Gundogan and Weigl to step up

Sorry but I don't think Loew can be blamed in any way for this tournament. I'm not a fan of his but he made the changes he needed to make. He was very unlucky with injuries, not to mention Hummels's BS suspension.

No it wasn't. That was a terrible call to ruin the semi-final. Many, many times that is not given.

I am going to wait until I watch the replay again before I comment further but from the replay I saw then I agree with SchwanMunich.

I'd be the first to blame Löw or scapegoat a player normally, but France rode their luck on this one.

Just saw the replay... a bit stupid by Schweinsteiger as Borusse pointed out but I still believe it was a BS call. He did not stop an action and the ball would've hit his head if his hand wasn't there. The fact that the referee whistled for it after the action ended and all the players seemed confused makes it even more frustrating.

These Euros are some sort of a consolation prize for France, I won't say more.
