Therefore, he was successful in reducing the chances of scoring for the opponent. Just because he conceded does not mean that any action that he took was bad.

Let me disagree on this. Compare how Kahn (and even Neuer, previously) rushed out compared to how Buffon/De Gea did it throughout their careers. its all about GK presence which puts pressure on attacker. Neuer was soft when he rushed vs Hungary and I fear its all in his head (That why I said he should concentrate more on the game itself).

Oh I'm sorry, next time he should kung fu kick the attacker like Kahn, right?
No he should have stayed in his goal maybe just a few meters out. The defenders were dealing with him

He is world class but he thinks that he is invincible

Defence was dealing with him? How exactly, by being 5 metres behind him?

It was a one on one and one should come out not allow the attacker all the time in the world.

It wasn't one on one situation, far from that. It's one on two or worse, one on three situation if we add Neuer in action.

It was a total amateur defending by Germany defenders and even Sané.

Neuer should have stayed behind or at least not rush out too early.

Rudiger has a " cold" & Gundo sufferered a head inj vs Hungary.
Both are dubious ...

The Rudiger issue is quite worrying

Problem with Neuer is that he thinks that he is:
Infallible
god
Immortal
And still 27
He is so sure of himself that he thinks too much and does not trust his defenders so he over does things...
Kind of a Pep in goal

Aaaaaah ok.. Because Neuer has this air around him where he talks like that about himself all the time.. Right, forgot all of those.. #-o

If Goretzka doesnt start tommorow as a B2B MF - I want them to lose 5-0.

So Ruediger and Gosens have the flu. The back 4 is being cried out to Loew.

Gnabry, Havertz and Werner would be switching positions.

I think at least one of the 2 Rudiger/Gossens can play. They were tested with just a small infection.

Maguire in, the most overpriced player ever, could be fun if Gnabry can get up to speed.

I think it will be the same formation with Goretzka in for Gündogan

Neuer, Rüdiger, Hummels, Ginter, Kimmich, Gosens, Kroos, Goretzka, Müller, Gnabry, Havertz
- Hansi Legend Flick -
