Schalke 04 have suspended German midfielder Max Meyer for the rest of the season as punishment for the player taking part in an unauthorized interview. [source]

Player had already said he wouldn't extend. They are punishing him for precisely that, in essence.

A famous Spanish player was involved in a similar incident but seems like he negotiated with the family of the victim (I guess a huge sum of money) and in the end nothing happened.

He is now playing in the Premier League.

Depends on whether Harit left the site of the accident and whether he was speeding. Marakesh police denied that his brother was the driver and that it was an illegal car race. He has been set free, but his passport was confiscated. Set to see the prosecutor tomorrow.

No news about Meyer. He/his agents overestimated his position big time.
