That would explain why Tedesco has been missing from this forum.

The last 5 Schalke penalty kicks were taken by 5 different players, none of them missed !!

Goretzka, Bentaleb, Di Santo, Caligiuri and Harit.

Sorry to be a damper, but why is this news? As in, in a hypothetical penalty shootout where Team A scores their first 5 penalties and Team B doesn't score all 5 (so team A wins), wouldn't the last 5 Team A penalty kicks be taken by 5 different players none of them missing? This is a common occurrence! In fact, it happened to Bayern as recently as the DFB Pokal away match against RB Leipzig.

Was reading Bild and they wrote an entire article about that and how deep and unpredictable Schalke's penalty can be due to having multiple takers. Their method is "who feels confident enough, can take it".

so i decided to put it here just as an Info.

Is it just me, or is Schalke in the proces of shooting themselves in the foot again?
They STILL haven’t closed their extension with Meyer and his contract runs out this summer! #-o
Haven’t they learned ANYTHING by now? It was the same with Goretzka, but maybe their contracts contain so low wages that Schalke prefers just letting the contracts run out instead of selling the player before time.
I have a feeling that some club will pick up Meyer on a free this summer
I can’t believe Schalke can’t figure out how to put a deadline on extension negotiations that are placed in time to be able to cash in on a player if he does NOT extend...

Max already told the Schalke officials that he is leaving at the end of the season.

Really!? #-o Why am I not surprised... :coffee:

At least Dortmund receives moderate to handsome transfer fees for the players they lose...

Did Schalke fans say anything regarding Max Meyer not extending? Or they only had words for Goretzka

They're waiting to see whether or not he will sign for FC Bayern before deciding whether or not to open their fat mouths.

I just read that CD Tenerife has missed the last 5 penalties all of them taken by different players :)

CD Tenerife sits now in the Spanish second league. Not so long ago Roy Makaay played a couple of seasons for them before his breakthrough with Deportivo and also Jupp Heynckes took them to the UEFA Cup semifinals 8)

They were eventually beaten by the team giving name to this thread, so I'm still on topic :^o
