They really have a great bunch of talented youngsters (as has always been the case). With a proven track record (e.g. Neuer, Ozil, Draxler on top of my head) it's no surprise that the "bigger" teams are more focusing on them for long-term options.

They have to get better at keeping their talents. They are a rich club and doesn't need to sell..

I detest S04 and I still  when I remember the 2001 facts...
However I applaud their supporters whom in my opinion are the best in Germany... On occasions even when they were 4-0 down they kept chanting and waving their flags.
Their youth set up is also one of the best in Germany.

It seems that a moroccan international who plays for Dynamo Kiev is on the verge of joining Schalke, his name is Younes Belhanda.

Wow, I forgot about Belhanda. I remember that he was meant to be a potentially top class player when he burst into the scene at Montpellier when they somehow won the Ligue 1 a couple of years back. Then it was a bit baffling he chose to go to relative obscurity instead of the Premier League.

Absolutely.
He was unlucky to arrive in Ukraine few months before the outbreak of the Civil War, thus wasting a couple of years of his career. But this season, things are working much better for him and his team who is qualified for the last 16 of the Champions League.

I really like schalke for their youth academy. If they were able to contain their players and avoid selling them to big clubs, then they would be a top club in the world. They have so many great players out of their system.

This.

However, MoFattal, please don't put Draxler on the same level of proven track record as Neuer and Ozil. ;)
