Boateng it's a flop, ok. A high paid one, moreover. But Sam? Has he become THAT bad?
Never head of sacked players in my entire life. Maybe Schalke has to start giving an "employer of the month" certificate to the good ones.

Swedish football team sacks it's entire first squad

There is a more recent one of a club president sacking his first team for poor performance instead of the manager. Replaced with the second team and youth players IIRC.

Schalke needs to find a more qualified Jens Keller I think. They have a great youth program, they need to make sure they nurture that and that their purchases fit with the rest of that philosophy.

Di Matteo is not that type of coach, over defensive and relying on old, solid veterans is not what a S04 coach should be. If anything they should have gone for Schmidt last summer.

I am not sure if Khedira is the type of player they need. But he has always been a model professional, so he maybe could become the emotional leader they need to rally around.

Schalke are just paying their reckless policy in that which regards the appointment of managers. Di Matteo has never been and will never be a great manager, he showed this clearly by turning a team with a great squad like Schalke into a completely ineffective and harmless team.

Scheiße need balls on both managing and coaching position. Such a waste of talent in this team for the last 5 years...
