I also don't understand why they backtracked and didn't fire Keller last winter break. Roma's Ljajic is linked to them. The Bundesliga in-demand strikers have already moved clubs, they'll have to look overseas.

They didn't, the club members were so close 2-3 times to fire him but in the end they gave up.

Keller saved his own ass doezens of times through the last season, but the last one was after Real Madrid where he achieved success for an average coach - 3rd place in the Bundesliga.

He has survived, but for how long? He will have to improve S04 playing style, finally define first 11 and players positions, give precize roles to every single player, etc. If he thinks it's gonna be easy after his first season, he's wrong... No, even harder! :|

About the striker issue... I guess they'll have to find someone in the BuLi or take a look outside of borders. I would bring Volland, but I'm not sure if they can afford him.

Ibišević has been recently mentioned in cotext of leaving Stuttgart... There aren't many options inside of BuLi.

Choupo-Moting can play as a ST, look at his body. And I don't think that we'll see Boateng-Goretzka in midfield, it's like Kroos-Schweini, Martinez type of guy is needed there.

Neudstater was the midfield partner of KPB last season if I'm not mistaken.

I hope for them they didn't make a mistake with this, he was a crucial player for them in the past. But good for Bayern for the 30th of august when i will be there in the Veltins arena to help kick Schalke's ass :P

They also have Santana and Ayhan. Maybe they want Kirchhoff to play CB too.

Also Ayhan (19 y/o) played 14 games last season as a CB.

Papa can come back after a year.

Don't forget Euro U-19 champion Marvin Friedrich. He's also one of the top German prospects.

Kirchoff has to be healthy first.. only injured, even with his time with Mainz he had that problem often.
