My hope is that he at least becomes the 12th men at Schalke this season, let's say the super substitute. He looked very sharp and dangerous already when subbed in last year.

I'm really excited about Meyer and also Goretzka. Let's hope for the best.

Meyer and Goretzka wont see a breakthrough season until next the next one at least. I also dont see Keller at the job come the end of the season, they seem shakier than under Stevens.
Emre CAN do it.

Haha, I'll tell you what's funny. I write on about 5 different forums and my statements get missinterpreted only here. :D It may be a coincedence or it may be the fact Im a Dortmund fan and users often interpret the worst from my posts. Im not trying to attack/provocate you or whatever in every single post. Its about time you learn that.

Means he will probably recover in time to play against Bayern in the Bundesliga in a match that's supposedly being played on 21st September (date not yet confirmed).

That's just sad. Huntelaar is more often injured than on the pitch. Poor Schalke pay him € 8m salary and he only plays half the games if not less. Good thing they signed Szalai.

So what did we learn from that Schalke game?

- Draxler is imo an average CAM. He should play on the left wing where he's got more impact and scores the majority of his goals.
- Meyer is very talented but wasted on the left wing.
- Jones is an abysmal CM. Basically every pass he makes is either putting his teammates under pressure or a turnover
- Höger was invisible
- Goretzka had more positive impact in 10 minutes than Jones in 80 minutes.
- Fuchs was bad, continuing his decline from last season
- Uchida offered something going forward but didn't look good tracking back
- Hildebrand is a painfully average goalkeeper
- Matip as good as Papa? What a joke. The Schalke fans are fooling themselves if they truly believe that.

Oh yea and Keller is a likable guy but this is no laughing matter. They need to hire a real coach asap.

Agree on that. Papadopoulos is still injured?

It seems so. Yes.

I don't know what's going on with his knee but he's still out of the picture.

Not unlikely they're waiting for a bid, a la Gustavo.
