What can you tell me about this guy?

He joined a team in Malta...

Probably he missed a BundesLiga team by a whisker

Once again he is wrong. Referees still rarely give 5 minutes of stoppage time. That is problematic in itself of course but games aren't getting longer.

He means with interruptions and as usual he exaggerates for effect.

The game lasts 90 minutes by itself. If there's 30 minutes of time spent VAR and whatever constitutes additional time, then it lasts 2 hours.

Speaking of VAR and I am in favour of it but I don't immediately celebrate when Bayern scores anymore. :D And I want the players to do the same. I would like to see the players, instead of celebrating the goal, they go and surround the referee and ask him 'Any news?' I would love to see that.

The way I see it, there is one way to make VAR work for everyone but they don't want to go there. The solution is REALLY simple:

The referee would not 'challenge' the VAR and go and check the replay to 'see for himself'. Instead, whatever the VAR says is final. This would cut out the long delay where the referee is spoken to over an earpiece, then jogs over to a screen, check the replays the VAR team have to quickly conjure up (this was an epic fail in the DFB-Pokal final, for example) and finally take a decision.

The game would be fair and free-flowing.
