I think it's just a good man management decision. Sometimes you just have to reward your employees and as I said in the previous post, acknowledge their effort and improvement.

His contract runs till 2022, with 2 years left we will be in a great negotiating position next summer.

One of the best Piszczek's performances in recent years and he got a "4" from Kicker. What a disgrace, I had to share it here, I'm so annoyed :evil: :evil: :evil:

It was vintage Piszczek on Friday!

In other news, Gotze doesn't want to extend his contract with a lower salary. He is earning 10 million right now and we want to make it 8 I believe. I think he feels offended or something :mrgreen: He'll spend this year as a rotation player and we'll probably say goodbye next year.

Still unclear what happens with Guerreiro, everyone hopes he extends with Dortmund. If he doesn't, we'll sell him this window.

That goal he scored five years ago took all Germans to heaven bar the scorer himself

Important days for Dortmund, Guerreiro might leave to PSG and if he does and we don't bring anyone in then our transfer won't look as great as it did just a moment ago. We will basically trade Guerreiro and Pulisic for Hazard and Brandt, that's not enough, we need more depth, we need that one extra winger which we had in Guerreiro. The chances he'll stay are getting slimmer and slimmer but I hope we will buy someone.

Admit it, you ARE trolling us. You have 9 offensive players, 8 if Guerreiro leaves.
Bayern only have 8 if you include Davies and Arp, while Coman is one of the few players in the world who is more injury-prone than Reus.

I would gladly take Rebic. But I doubt it will be him.

Naaah, as Lewandowski said in his recent interview! ( :mrgreen: ) it's not about quantity but about quality.

We have one striker - Paco Alcacer - he's an injury prone player or at least it seems that way. We can't be certain he'll stay fit. His back-up is Gotze, not even a striker.
For 3 midfield positions we have (if Guerreiro leaves) Hazard, Reus, Sancho, Brandt, Larsen, Wolf.

We have 4 competent players for 3 positions, Hazard's already injured and out for 3 weeks so now we basically have just Brandt, Reus and Sancho without any strong back-up options. Larsen and Wolf are average players. It already isn't looking that great and the season has barely started.

So yeah, we need Guerreiro to stay. Or we need someone else to fill his place.

Witsel better than Thiago? Müller better than Götze? Delaney better than Boateng? Am I reading this wrong???

No the opposite (I think) what amazed me was; Coman better than Sancho!!

That amazes me as well considering the way it's written is that Sancho was compared to Gnabry not Coman, and Sancho considered better.

What were you drinking last night?

Well, the whole "comparison" between the group of players is a joke, but if I was the judge and I have to pick between the same group:

Neuer > Burki
Kimmich > Hakimi
Sule = Akanji
Hernandez > Hummels
Alaba > Shulz
Thiago > Witsel
Goretzka < Brandt
Gnabry < Sancho
Coutinho > Reus
Coman > Guerreiro
Lewa > Paco
Ulreich > Hitz
Boateng = Delaney
Pavard > Weigl
Muller = Gotze
Perisic = Hazard

It's 12 to 4 to me. :roll:

It depends on tactics as well, of course Thiago is a better playmaker than Witsel but Witsel is better at keeping the ball and winning duels etc, it's weird to even compare them because they have different roles.

But in general Bayern do have a bit better first team, especially now with Coutinho coming in.
