Stöger going down hard on Götze after that spiritless game vs Salzburg. Replacing him (and Reus) at halftime because "I was not happy with Mario at all". Ouch.

He then went on to further add: "To play positions, to play balls in depth, to make paths behind the chain, that actually did not happen at all . . . If it's not playful, then we have to come up with another plan, we unpacked it and then at least I had the feeling that there are eleven players on the field trying to win the game not at all in the first round."

Stöger is blaming everyone else for things that are fundamentally his fault. If Gotze, Reus, Schurrle, and Batshuayi are all playing poorly, it's probably because the team is so poorly structured that they don't get the ball at all in dangerous areas, and being unable to give a team good structure is a sign of a bad coach.

I would accept not winning in Salzburg as the pitch was in shocking condition. But that loss at home was pretty embarrasing

Not happening. He is almost certainly going to join Juventus next season. Max Arnold or Meyer (unlikely because of the Schalke connection) are more realistic candidates.

BVB might sign both Khediras

Oh come on. 2012-13 Borussia Dortmund would have won 8-0 on aggregate against Red Bull Salzburg. It's no excuse.

Fits the team really well, it's a shame that Conte used overhyped player like Morata and he prefered Giroud over him.

Well... That nutmeg was an accident... And the fact that he actually thinks he stands a chance says everything there is to say about Dortmund right now...

I don’t really care if this lot gets relegated but from an objective perspective this is my take on Dortmund:

They need to cut their losses with Reus like Bayern did with Badstuber. Guys like Reus, Badstuber and Jack Wilshere are too injury prone to be relied upon to build a team around.
This would be Dortmund’s best lineup for next season.

They have the money to get Trapp, Hector, Arnold and maybe even Mitchy from Chelsea.

Dortmund can do much better than thst.
Reus is a WC player even after the injuries, he comes back pretty quickly. No point in ditching him for crap players like Schürrle.

Also Dahoud is a great prospect and Guerreiro was FANTASTIC for Tuchel. The lineup you posted is seriously mediocre.

What BVB needs is a proper coach. Their squad has lost a lot of quality since Tuchel's first season, but they still have a good number of great prospects and young players. A guy like Nagelsmann could do wonders for them.

Arnold is a better midfielder than Dahoud. I totally forgot about Guerrero. Yes he would be a much better option at LB. Reus maybe WC but no point relying so heavily upon a guy who can hardly play a dozen games in a season.

Anyway **** Dortmund. Serves them right for appointing shit coaches. Hopefully we can get Pulisic soon!
