From what I had most often seen it seemed like they wanted to sell Auba to Arsenal in exchange for Cash + Giroud (loan at minimum)

Things are really not looking good. It's not that we lack quality players because we have them, it's that they either don't have faith in the coach's ideas or the ideas are not working. On the pitch it looks like everyone is playing their own game, our attacking moves lack coordination, the key pass is played too late, too quickly or isn't played at all. Movement off the ball is absolutely terrible, all we have going for us are individual efforts which help break through the defence or sometimes luck when opponent makes a mistake and lets us counter.

We made a big mistake parting with Tuchel, we are in great need of a quality coach like him. Stoger is not someone who will lead us to success. Hopefully we get a coach like Nagelsmann in the summer.

BVB's newly acquired $$ can hardly go to any quality players. I 've been on the transfer saga of PE Auba for ~ 1.5 years. This man wanted to escape from Dortmund as if he was doing a Prison Break. He considered a myriad of teams, from Barca, to PSG, now Arsenal, he even considered joining the Chinese side Tianjin Quanjian! (which is a team sponsored by a allegedly Ponzi Scheme company selling "supplements" to old people)

I don't know what happened inside them, but anything bad that goes into players ' ears pretty quickly. More likely BVB will hold a bunch of money in their hands but nobody 's gonna take a look at that money.

Two bits of non-Aubameyang news.

Both official and confirmed by the club:

BvB have signed Sergio Gomez from Barcelona (youth player). He is 17 years old and has 22 caps for Spain's U17 teams and has been quite highly regarded. Fee of €3m, contract length not disclosed yet though they've said it's "long term" so presumably four or five years.

Marc Bartra has officially moved to Real Betis on a permanent transfer. Fee not disclosed, contract until 2023.

How long does Stoeger's contract run for?

They should have signed until the end of the season with an option to extend based on performance :?
