I'm sure Tuchel is sitting in a chair somewhere laughing his rear off.

Saw this elsewhere but had to share it here. Bosz by the numbers:

167: Days in charge.
71: Days without a Bundesliga win.
78: Days without a home win.
24: Games. (8 wins, 6 draws, 10 losses)
1.24: Average points per game across all competitions.
33.33: Overall win percentage. (Thomas Tuchel 62.96, Jürgen Klopp 56.3.)
8: Bundesliga matches without a win.
1: Wins in last 13 games. (against third tier Magdeburg in the German Cup.)
0: Champions League wins.
€5 million: The reported amount of compensation Borussia Dortmund paid Ajax for Bosz’ services. A record for a German club.
0: Major honors won in his managerial career.

Bosz was a biiiiiiiig gamble for Dortmund, but they hired the Dutch coach and in the end that hit them directly in the head.

BVB are in deep trouble once again after the Klopp's decline in 2014/2015. This time they have more than enough time to correct all of their mistakes and catch up the CL positions, but it won't be easy since it's one of those freakin' seasons when some clubs are over-performing and taking the best fruit at the end of the season.

Good news is, however, Tuchel won't be stolen from Dortmund if he signs for Bayern in the near future.

Here's something interesting I read from a user on the BvB reddit page:

By the way, anyone getting strong noughties flashbacks?
A few years removed from periods of sustained successes (Hitzfeld late 90's, Klopp early 10's), we bring in a manager with a quirky and somewhat divisive personality (Sammer, Tuchel), who while nowhere near as successful as the legendary managers, took over after bad seasons (99/00, 14/15) immediately boosted BVB (Sammer 3rd in 00/01, Tuchel 2nd in 15/16), but also bought the ire of some sections of the fandom. Both spent massive money on an attacking talent that disappointed (Amoroso 26m 01/02, Schurrle 30m 16/17) and both spent handsome sums bringing back a player who had left a few seasons prior (Evanilson, Gotze). Both had a short period of somewhat inconsistent success (Sammer 6-2 W Hannover, 0-1 L Koln, Tuchel 6-2 W Leverkusen, 1-2 Darmstadt) won 1 trophy then left under somewhat divisive circumstances. Both were succeeded by a Dutch manager (van Marwijk, Bosz) who had no Bundesliga experience, and had never won the Eredivisie as a manager, but came off the back of a strong European performance the prior season (Feyenoord 01/02, Ajax 16/17). Played a system that was foreign, a team that felt lightweight and lacking in passion. Left you thinking "Do something" (Marwijk derby in 05, takes the lead but loses in the end, without bringing Ricken off the bench. Bosz derby in 17, takes the lead but draws in the end, without bringing Kagawa off the bench). Both successors (Rober, Stoger) took over in mid December, with the team in horrible form rarely winning at all, (Marwijk Oct-Dec 06/07 3/5/4, Bosz Oct-Dec 17/18 1/5/7) as sections of the fandom questioned the club's dismissal of their predecessors (Sammer, Tuchel) who while divisive, did have better results.
Brace yourselves lads. If history repeats, Stoger quits before summer, we replace him with a complete madhatter, and our best but injury prone attacker who had signed an extension in the bad years, (Rosicky, Reus) finally ups and leaves, as does our ace striker (Koller, Auba). And we go into rebuild for a few years. Maybe we should start preparing to poach a manager off Mainz again.

BVB line up already shows an improvement...
Couldn't have waited for January to change the coach?

I must admit that i was totally wrong in my opinion about Andriy Yarmolenko before the season.I'm watching him closely every game and i think he is one of the few players in BVB who deserve to be on the pitch every game.
