It's no coincidence. They're a club with an elite match calendar and a mid-table-sized squad.

Watching this happen, I think 3-4 months is pretty optimistic

It's never great for these injuries to happen but no better time than the end of the season, hopefully he can use the offseason for some much deserved rest and recovery...

They have 28 players in the squad. How many are you suggesting they should sign?

I thought the same honestly. Often these guys tend to keep having ankle problems come up again and again and again

Should've said mid-table squad management. What's the point of 28 players if there's no one half-decent enough to rotate with Weigl? Too many fodders, too few starting XI quality especially in midfield.

Fuck. On this May 14, I think 'fodder' caught on with enough people to become a thing. This is a sad day for me

I'm sorry, swear down I didn't mean to :? Crazy how one idiot could ruin something as trivial as a word for everyone. I promise to not use "whatsoever" though.

Nah. Just some trend I noticed here. "Fodder" is a real word, but the way people are using it on this forum is not a way English speaking people would use it so it's a little cringeworthy to see it here. And when I see it pluralized as "fodders", that's when it becomes especially cringeworthy. That's like some ESL/Spanglish shit.

To each his own though because we know what people mean when they say it, but it's a bit like nails on a chalkboard bad

Lol. Occam's Razor. I thought maybe this "fodder" business was a widespread cultural thing nowadays or maybe something Trump said. Nah, it just the disrespectful members in here.

On the subject of neologisms, I actually like Coman's "unbrains".

I thought it sounded weird but just went on with it once or twice cause I actually thought it was soccer related... Actually one of the few fields where my vocabulary is in dire need of upgrades...
