Dortmund IS in trouble. Miki just said no to an extension.

(I noticed you refer to singular teams in plural.)

Interesting. Depends on who they bring in, but I doubt they have the spending or pulling power to sign multiple stars in one window.

Both versions are correct I think.

Well they have Dembele and Topak signed and it looked like Rode will be going. Im sure they'll get another big name or two. They should go for Tah (id like him at Bayern) or Someone who can fill some voids.

Reus demands Dortmund transfers to close Bayern gap [source]

Good luck with that...

That was good from Reus, if the star players aren't demanding then the club won't be competitive!

BVB must spend for players and not only growing some talents! Dembele is a good signing but it seems that he will use BVB as a step for his development and then requesting a transfer. Gundogan & Hummels already left, Mikhi's contract extension is on air and their best player of the season Aubameyang seems a very unstable guy, he just played his one and only world class year and he talks about future plans, transfers and dreams. Someone there at BVB should explain to this guy that BVB is a big & great club and if it wasn't for them Auba would play for a mid table team as a typical average striker.

-Toprak? €22Μ
Decent CB not world class, can't be Hummels successor and for that fee you can get a younger or better CB. Clearly a downgrade!
Tuchel's BVB needs better wing backs offensively, they need "another Reus" for the RW role and definetely a good DMF. Granted that they are already looking for a CB. I suppose Weigl will take Gundogan's role, let's see. If they get Toprak and that's it good luck to them. They won't have such a strong year like this season and will be a matter of time for their remaining core players to request a transfer!

I also agree with Reus.

Dortmund will need to increase their wage budget and be more aggressive in the transfer market.
With Hummels out and Gündogan either on his way out or injured, its pivotal that they hang on to Mkhitaryan. He's a top player!
