Well, since this thread has been all peace and quiet lately I say we renew our hostilities on Borusse:

Ten bucks says Gundogan doesn't renew his contract; he wears an English shirt by the end of the WC...

Where in England will he go though? As of this moment going there is a downgrade on Dortmund (remember I made this compliment Borusse! :P ) Chelsea and City don't need him, at Arsenal he'll go to fight for top 4, and Klopp>Moyes. I thought at one point he may end up at Madrid but that is certainly over now that they got Illaramendi. You never know though, I might be proven wrong :)

I think he will be Xavi's successor ...

Considering that Dortmund was willing to sell Lewandowski abroad I strongly doubt they'll keep Gündogan til 2015 in case he wants to go to Spain or England.

I agree he's a better Xabi replacement for Madrid since Gundogan-Bender is like Alonso-Khedira isn't it? Though BVB players should be wary of moving to Madrid because of what happened to Sahin. Also Kagawa for United (terribly misused player). So Gundogan should move to Bayern!

We just have to be patient. Gundogan seemed like he wants to extend the contract with Dortmund so I see no reason to get anxious. 2015 is better than 2014, we still have options.

I only see Gundogan going to Barca tbh they really need a midfielder like him since Xavi is heading toward his twilight years....

Barca has a lot of Barca B kids and La Masia graduates capable of succeeding Xavi; like that kid Dennis Suarez who they bought from Man City. The problem is, they're not letting them play to develop. Sergi Roberto is the new favorite successor now, I think.
