Yes true, but as far as I know Elber had a fight with the coach of Brazil, that's why he wasn't called up as much as he should have. In any case, they WERE called up.
Besides that, he was called into the NT team too late (26) because Brazil had a seasoned partnership of Romario and Bebeto on the attacking front when Elber broke through with Stuttgart before the transfer to us.

Dos Santos, Karimi ....those are some names I have never heard in a long time, reminds me of 2006.
Roque Santa Cruz seem great but always have injuries.
I always liked Ottl for some reason.

We used to have very poor GK substitutes in the 90's
I remember us being thrashed 7-0 by Deportivo and 4-0 by Zaragoza in friendly matches
