Weinzierl would be a terrible choice IMO. Yes, he has done a great job in Augsburg, but so was the logic behind Moyes when he took United over. Truth is he completely lacks big team and European experience. Also, he wouldnt be able to help bring big name players/up and coming stars to Bayern. Everybody knows how important that was in Moyes' United and how much of a difference LVG has made in that regard.

In my view, if Pep departs the only viable candidates currently are Klopp and Ancelotti. Both have the charisma, name and background to succeed at Bayern. For the future id like Tuchel or Schmidt because I like their philosophy, but they too lack the experience ATM.

Also, Klopp is one of the most marketable coaches in the world, I would say top 3 alongside Pep and Mourinho (maybe add Simeone and LVG in the mix too). He's extremely popular, not only inside, but also outside of Germany.

On the other hand, Klopp will change the way we play 100%. Is the team ready to go through that transition?

And he's really dogmatic, refusing to change things up even when everything is going wrong

Ancelotti is more flexible

I'm not so sure you know? Klopp system is all about high pressure (same as Pep) and fast passing (same as Pep). The major difference is the length of the passing and the directness of play, but I think Klopp could work wonders with a highly technical team as ours.

If Pep does decide to leave I would really like to see a coach who is more open-minded than Pep. Some people criticize Enrique but he has made changes to Barcelona that have helped them achieve some amazing results without being so dogmatic to the usual possession style that was getting so stale and predictable. He's made necessary alterations to allow them to be more counter-attacking so that they can utilize their three star frontmen better and that produced an incredible amount of goals last season.

If Pep just realize what you wrote...he will have much more friends...

Immobile spoke about Klopp yesterday and said that the german coach is a great motivator but not as good tactically.
That sounds like he's talking about Klinsmann.

And he was only good to play in a slow paced league like the serieA
Let us see how he fares in spain.

He's not the only one thinking Klopp is limited tactically.

I also share some concerns about Klopp. People get mad at Pep for being stubborn with his tactics, but then in the next breath say they want Klopp. A LOT of concern there...

What do you guys think if Heynckes were to return? Eurosport apparently reported Hoeness is trying to persuade him back if Pep decides to leave. I find it hard to believe since he's already 70.

Hoeness himself said that Jupp wanted to stay after 2013 but the board decided that Pep is a better choice

Jupp then won the treble

Then Pep came and changed everything, with the board fully supporting him. Let's not talk about the way we were knocked out in the CL SF

Now Uli thinks he had the slightest chance of getting Jupp back?

My only preference is to have a German coach after Pep. We have good candidates like Favre, Klopp, Schmidt and Low.

Low is a good coach?

That's a very, very controversial thing to say

Favre (French Swiss) and Schmidt lack experience. Klopp lacks flexibility

I want a German coach as much as you do, but that doesn't mean I have to put up with the guy that plays with 4 CB, copied everything Bayern did and asked Kroos to man-mark Pirlo, in a SF - and let's not get started on the rest of his tactical mistakes
