What about the DFL-Supercup and the German Cup?

Jorge wrote:Definitely good news. ESPN has an array of channels and most are in every basic cable package plus a "free" streaming service (free meaning that is paid through your internet provider or cell phone company and not an extra stand alone subscription).
As right now FOX had the rights with most games on FS1 and FS2 which have a smaller footprint in the market.

The ESPN streaming services are much cheaper than Fox Sports streaming services so theoretically its good for BuLi in the US.

You are actually right. I am so behind on all these changes, ESPN retired WatchESPN on July 1st 2019 (which did what I explained above: it was included at no additional cost through many internet providers) Now, ESPN+ offers paid streaming content, the difference still is that if you are a subscriber to any cable or TV stream service you validate the ESPN channels that you already have and you do not pay extra, but more limited content only available via streaming will require a paid subscription.
I anticipate Bayern's games to be on one of the many channels: ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN Classic, ESPND or even ABC since like ESPN it is owned by Walt Disney.
Definitely this makes the BL more accessible in the US. When there is limited TV's at airports, certain restaurants and bars with sports on, you seldom see FS1 or FS2 on it, and it is very common to see one of the ESPN channels on.
