I'm sure we can get a group of at least 10 together but it would need to be planned very well since most of us would need to look out for flights or trains. It would take a lot of time so I don't want to impose anything on anyone

It really depends on the opponent (and the type of game, the final and first game of the season are never available), but I've seen tix available for almost every game. Tickets on the Zweitmarkt are official, not overpriced, and very easy to pay/get (print @ home).
I've done this before, worked perfectly.

So I'm supposed to book a holiday without even knowing the dates and what kind of commitments I would have at the time? How is that humane? I wish there was a way I could buy a ticket, officially, for like 200 euros, 2-3 days before the match and actually be able to just go and watch the match.

You CAN buy a ticket 3 days before a game, officially...it's called the ZWEITMARKT. And it's not 200 euros.
So you'd rather book everything last minute and pay several hundred euros, in stead of booking everything last minute and get a 35 - 70 euro ticket from a second hand market?
I booked my ticket for the Schalke game ONE DAY before the game. For 35 quid, how is that 'inhumane'?

I'll pick a match against a mediocre opponent.

Thanks bro. The wedding is still in August but we're already planning for a honeymoon in Munich/Bavaria. We'll hopefully manage to do it.

There's a possibility, but that'll be trickier as you'll need two seasonticket holders who are both not available for that game. I have seen seats together tho, but it's defo no guarantee.
