Re: Tickets

Hi

At the risk of repeating a lot of other queries on this thread....

I am in Munich for the Leipzig game on Dec 21st and would love to try and get a ticket to this most iconic of footballing havens.

Viagogo is a little prohibitive (and the £30 service charge against my moral compass) but I would happily pay up to £100 for a ticket (I need 2) for the game.

Other than turning up to the AA at 6am (which I might be happy to do), checking on Zweimarkt, selling my body (not recommendable) any other thoughts on how to get a ticket?

Can you 'borrow' a members number to buy a ticket on the aforementioned? (or is that treachery to even ask?)

Thanks in advance

Tim

Tickets have sold out for that game, so you can't even 'borrow' someone's membership for a ticket at this point. From what I can tell from your post I'm guessing you're a club member (saying you can access the Zweitmarkt). If that's the case: Zweitmarkt, definitely! There are almost always tickets on there from a few weeks before the game until a few hours prior to the game.

No. I'm not a member - I just heard of it. Sounds like its going to be a hard ticket! Thanks....

But if anyone knows of any other means I would be very grateful....

Noob here. I might have an opportunity to go to the Darmstadt game 18 Dec. I don't see any online tickets yet on the Darmstadt site. Any idea when those might come out and if I have a chance?

I do see some on viagogo but would like to save a few shekels if I can.

Hey guys,

Excuse me if this topic has been covered extensively already but I'm trying to go see Bayern-Atleti in December and I wanted to know my chances of getting tickets through ticket reseller market system.

Is that system open to non members only a few days before the game? And for a big game such as that one, will there even be any tickets left to claim by non members? I just don't want to use a 3rd party site like viagogo because of the crazy fees.

Thanks, everyone.

Look guys...
It's not you Alcantara! But we're basically going over the same questions over and over again every two or three posts...

It is hard to get tickets for members!
It is ESPECIALLY hard to get tickets for non-members!
And there is no way for non-members to get tickets in any of FC Bayerns outlets...

You have to be lucky and win them or be privileged in any sort of promotion - or (provided you don't have great connections) you're gonna have to go through ebay or viagogo...

Sorry, I should've read the other posts. Thanks for your answer. And BTW, if any Bayern members are willing to let me use their info, I'm willing to paypal (or through whatever method) $50. Message me if interested. Thanks again.

No prob

Thing is: I wouldn't give my info, but I'd give you the tickets for free (well, for what they actually cost me...) if I got some and didn't want them... But you're too late already...
Round of 16 - if we make it - would be more realistic...

Hello,

Am I correct in stating I must register for the club memberhsip ($60) in order to purchase tickets from the secondary market, Zweitmarkt?

If I do register for club membership how quickly will the appropriate paperwork be filed? I am looking to purchase tickets in late December, is this reasonable or is the timeframe too tight at this point?

Thanks and regards!

I'm planning (and hopefully will) visit Munich in September, and I of course want to visit the Allianz Arena and watch a Bundesliga home game.
My question is, if I got my visa and papers ready in August, will I be able to find good tickets for a game that is played in September?

Judging by previous years they'll definitely be sold out by then. I'm sure you'll still manage to get tickets but depends on how much you're willing to spend too.

Matchday 1 will be on 18th August. I can't remember when tickets actually go on sale but obviously quite a while before that.

No way... Either have connections or overpay... If you're really REALLY lucky you might get some, but only if you preorder now

I can't pre-order now because neither my visa nor my whole plan is going to happen 100%

That's a dilemma

I don't understand why Bayern don't raise ticket prices if fans end up paying the high price on the black market or more legal ticket resale places anyway. If ticket prices were high enough to guarantee buying a ticket at the door I would have travelled to watch Bayern several times. As things are, it's way too inconvenient to do. You have to book leave, book a flight, book a hotel, book a taxi transfer or something and order a ticket for the off-chance of actually being allowed to buy it.

I envy fans of Italian clubs. They feel like watching a match this weekend? Just get a last minute plane ticket, go up to the stadium ticket booth, buy the ticket and walk in.

Instead Bayern fans are treated to big hassle just to be able to give an impression that ticket prices are cheap where reality is not exactly that.
