sorry if I may ask ... did you purchase the tickets via viagogo?

I was curious so if I decide I will have another option. I am a member with FCB and am not sure what are the procedures for paid members to get tickets.
When in 2010 I went to Munich it was thanks to a member of the local fan club that I got the tickets (for face value € 60.00) even if I was already a member they kept telling me that it was fully booked...! Luckily as I said this member helped me out.
I saw tickets from Viagogo €150-175 each !
The local club can get tickets (although apparently it is easier for them to get Champions league tickets but do not sell them for the real value...)
And since I cannot drive since I happen to live on an island the expense will be much bigger...

Well, it's kinda hard... Luckily, I know some people, too :P :D

You have to make an inquiry - but they stop to accept them sometimes - as was the case this season - way before the schedule is even out... Inquiries for CL are still possible (which is why it's alittle easier to get group stage tickets at least...)
The tickets are usually alloted to lucky people... ;)

That's why I have several inquiries open... :P :P

As for the severe difficulties in getting tickets for foreigners: If I get some tickets I don't need - or if I can't make it to one of the games, I will let you guys know ASAP...

I have the impression that official Fan Clubs (as is ours) will have some priorities or a limited number of tickets...not sure about it... We here might also be a bit overlooked since there are thousands of other fan clubs in both Germany and Austria... As I said and you well confirmed that it is easier to find UCL games... However I prefer to come for a Buli match.

Hi, I am new here.
I am form Azerbaijan and planned to visit Munich in mid October.
I am not Bayern Club member and just wonder to ask if it possible to buy the tickets for Bayern champions league group stage match via official web site? I know that it is impossible to buy the tickets for bundesliga matches and the only way is to use the alternative sites like viagogo etc and pay double or triple. Is there the same situation with champions league matches?

As far as I understand there are no way to complete the membership application and the only way is to send it my post mail, am I right?

Chances are slim tbh...what you CAN do is hopre for tickets at over-the-counter- selling (about 5000 tickets IIRC) on Säberner Street or at the Arena itself on matchday (about 200 tickets)

Thanks. So as I understand the way forward is:
- try to purchase the tickets via official site
- purchase the tickets via viagogo or ebay
- come to Munich and try to find the tickets on matchday

What about membership? Will it increase my chances significantly?

Tried that every February for four years in a row now (Bundesliga or Dfb- pokal match), but never got any...
Watching the game in a local bräuhaus was a nice experience too though...

Yup... It's tough...

As harry-muc said it...

It's also very bad so many sponsors get tickets... Modern soccer...
Best shot is always if you know someone with season tickets...

If you're not looking for a couple of adjacent seats, however, you can get "cheap" tickets that are being resold for the regular price - also on fcbayern.de...

We should've built a bigger stadium... F*cking pussycats... :P

Thanks, 12. I need 3 adjacent seats and think I will deal with viagogo...
It is long way to go from Baku to Munich. We will come only for watching football - my father's birthday in October (he is 70) and he supports Bayern since 1970th. This "football" trip will be my birthday gift to him, so I cannot risk and need to organise everything before we will even apply for visa.
