Robben's goal today made me think.

This kind of things happen in football. Like Inter in 2010 or Chelsea last year. Chelsea deserved to win CL after so many dramatic eliminations and they did it kicking out Barça (the revenge from 2009) and winning the final in the penalty shoot out having scored a last minute equalizer (that's how they were kicked out a few years ago) and with Drogba scoring the last penalty. A few years before they lost that penalty shoot out and Drogba was sent off so he couldn't shoot

It's like it was written and nobody could change it. Everything was going in their favour in last year's CL

Now we are in that kind of situation. We were close to the treble and we managed to lose every competition. Now we are doing great in those three. Key player now is ROBBEN. He was the most unlucky player last season and he deserves a big trophy. Dortmund started his frustration and now with this goal he is ultra motivated for the upcoming challenges leaving his frustration behind

It's like the story is written again and it has a happy ending now [-o<

We can be guaranteed a double if we win games during the next 4 weeks or so, as well as getting a home draw in the cup. For the CL, the benefit is that Heynckes can now afford to rest his players for the big games.
If we keep our heads down, we can definitely do it.

I meant Key Player in this season's story

If you look at Drogba's CL career you will see that he deserved the trophy and he was extremely unlucky in a lot of situations. Then 2011/2012 season came and everything just went in his favour

- Kick Barça out of CL semifinals with a lot of luck
- Make 1 penalty in both semifinals and finals and BOTH were missed
- score a last minute equalizer in the CL final
- score the winning final penalty in the shoot out

Now I think Robben is in a very similar situation and his goal against Dortmund is the first step in this season story.

In the narrative? Yeah, I can agree with that. He has a good shot at keeping that narrative (whole "redemption" thing) this season.
