I was talking about the possibilities if such transfers happen. At some point this is the team I'd like to see for 18/19. Not that it will happen for sure. I thought it's all this thread about.

Bayern will play 4 defenders, otherwise there's no flair down the wing, and attacking from the wing has been our strength in many years and with 4 good wingers, I dont think Kovac can ignore them.

Thing is we are as far from having 4 wingers as from winning a CL final...

From what I've seen, Kovac seems like to deploy 2 strikers.

Suppose Lewandowski leaves the club, we might try something like what Loew has done to Germany NT , a hyrid 3-1-4-2 and 4-1-4-1

This formation is a balance on both wings unlike the ones using Kimmich and Alaba on the wing. We have Coman + Kimmich on RW and Alaba + Gnabry on LW. Gnabry will play as a secondary striker behind Wagner and tends to drift to the left wing.

- Wagner, though not as good as Lewy(doubt that), will gain a lot more activities when he has a skillful player playing right behind him.
- Kimmich will play in this formation just like Loew is doing on NT.

When Gnabry is not available (injured or other reasons), Kovac can switch back to 4 defenders or just use Gareth Bale in Gnabry position.

So come on, Bayern, sign Gareth Bale ASAP!!!

This is it!

This problem has stayed with Bayern since Pep was appointed coach. We get ripped on counter attacks. Hopefully Kovac finally fixes this issue [-o<

And it is imperative that we stop those idiotic passes in our half....
That pass by Sule to James comes to mind.... Seeing his teammate super pressed and he still passed the ball to him!
He should have opted for a long pass! Play safe and direct....
And also no more back passes to the keeper

James was looking towards Suele and Ulreich. He could have easily passed the ball back to Ulreich but I don't blame him for being wary about that after what happened against Real Madrid ;)

This is my ideal lineup for the new season. Since we're not going to make new transfers, i hope that Goretzka can be integrated together with Tolisso, i don't see why we should waste any time with leaving one of them on the bench, since we don't expect anything big in Europe. I don't think that Coco should be leaved on the bench for anyone after his big season with the team. One of the Leon's best abilities - defensive positioning and game reading should help him with the hybrid DM role, just like KPB this season.

I'm sick with Muller on the wing, also after the last couple of games i think we should think about not starting Javi in every game. We just need another style.
