I’m with this guy.
I’d be okay with Thomas staying but he has to accept a bench/sub role in the future. He’s not getting back to his former level. This season Kovac has given him a free reign and James injury has helped him become a constant in the starting eleven but he’s still not doing enough as a forward as often as he can/should.
Yes he’s had a few good games in the last few weeks but they’ve been rare. This is not the standard of what should be acceptable performances at a top club like Bayern.
I’ll be blunt here. The only reason Müller is getting such a long run is because of him being a native Bavarian (German and White). I love him for what he represents but your identity can only take you so far in the absence of results.
