I choose the latter.

in a club its not only about success, its also about tradition and values...and if i have to choose, i choose the latter.

Things like that are easy to say in the times of success.

im way longer around than the last 3 years, when winning the national championship was a great success. beeing part of the 3-5 best clubs of europe was never normal for us, it happened maybe every ten years. i thought winning the cl 2001 was a once in a lifetime experience. winning is pointless if its without honour. but maybe im too old fashioned for this new business football...and the fans it brings around.

Really honorful. But with the money that will come to the premier league next season you have to be careful that it really doesn't become a one in a life time experience...

When the wind of change blows in the world of football, some old-fashioned fans build walls, while others like Bayern board members build windmills.

Unfortunately since this sport is already littered with money we have to follow suit ... Otherwise we will fall behind.
This does not mean that I am happy with...
I am against modern football with all my heart. If I had the power I would limit the number of foreigners in a football club to 7.
Make a limit for a maximum transfer 50m and max wage. 5m per year.

It still blows my mind when the foreign fans want to limit the number of foreign players.

Maybe that's why you have more foreign fans cheering for Bayern in the first place... in a more equal world maybe my little city would stand a better chance and I wouldn't need to cheer for Bayern.
I would be all for limiting a lot of this stuff...
Players earn for a month more than my little city's budget of a year, says it all.

Tell me how much money you spend and I'll tell you how far you'll reach... where's the fun in it?
If you ask me, I'd limit it to homegrown players only, can it get more conservative than that?
