There are other considerations, seat colors notwithstanding. The damage done to the pitch coming from two games per week and which has required +- 8 grass changes since inauguration; the costs of holding and maintaining games for a team that draws 24,000 people on average with an stadium that is meant to sit ~70,000. Having areas such as the Lion's fan shop (I didn't actually see it last time I visited though) that could be used for other purposes (is that where the museum is now?) And to be honest, just getting rid of those blue locker rooms is worth the 2 million or so rent they are paying. This rent amount is unconfirmed and from what I can remember.

And dammit whoever suggested red seats that crap just got to my head. I was ok with the white seats until I read that suggestion here. All I can think of now is the Arena looking all red. They will be able to upgrade the lights to neon since they will only need two colors instead of the customary three (red, white and shit,) but that of course is just one crappy reason.

Also, not everything can be measured in money. Prestige for example.

Technically it is already ours as we bought out 1860's share, but it's still not solely a Bayern stadium as they still play there. I could imagine that this is bothering Hoeneß beyond monetary concerns.

I realized this when I saw an 1860 game on Eurosport. The Allianz just looked so... alien. :(

Absolutely... Repopulate the VIP boxes. LOL, that'll be harder than going for free parking.

I think that before constructing this stadium we made it possible to expand it in the future. I really dont see any problem adding few more rows in the last/3rd tier...

and another thing that would surely add few more thousand seats just by putting them more closer.

AA seats...check the space between them

and Old trafford seats...everything is more tighter

If those 68.000 seats were put like they are at Old Trafford than I think there would be space for another 10.000 seats.

Why would you want to put the beer down? Unless by that you mean the empty cup.

Move where? They are still our subtenants, unfortunately. I really hate them.

I want red seats. It's time to show who's in charge in München. 8)
