Yes more or less. It probably wasn't exactly 66k.

I only been to the Allianz once. I had to go to a ticket broker to get the tickets and felt like i was robbed. Even thou the game was a scoreless tie i loved it. Can't wait to go back.

If anyone visits the Allianz, do make time to see the musseum. I thought it was a short , expensive and boring room with lots of old stuff. So gladly disapointed.

Alright, I got the skinny on this one. 1860 is not moving out anytime soon. Apparently no other stadium in the city complies with security regulations for first or second division matches and, to do so, would cost around 16 mil. I guess this means upgrades for the Olympic Stadium. The City is not willing to put up the dough so it means 1860 stays and hence the the white seats and blue lights will too. The pitch also suffers quite a lot from having two games per week.

Now if 1860 drops to third division...

Then why are you telling us to go there?

My bad; very poor grammar. I thought it would be boring and expensive when I saw the news about it (before visiting.) Other company museums in Munich were really a disappointment. I was glad to see it was quite big, kinda affordable and most interesting even for mildly interested visitors. The exhibition of the history of Bayern shirts and the mock-up of Bayern's former conference room where the highlights IMO.

1860 München plan their own stadium.

http://www.transfermarkt.de/de/1860-mue ... 02605.html

They want to buy land from the city of Munich.
If everything goes according to plan they could move in 4 years
40,000 capacity is planned

Yes, and the contract is for another 13 years, but Hoeneß would welcome a mutual termination ASAP according to the article.

Interesting, and it could prove to be the key to them returning to the Bundesliga.

I'm going back to Munich in February. Definitely on my "to do" list! (if my fiancee likes it or not!)

Why, if we are earning rent money? Just so we can paint the seats red? It's not like it is going to attract more fans; the stadium is full enough as is.
