Can you attach a news article about it? I haven't seen any news on ESPN or twitter or anything.

Sure. Marca had a good report but it now moved to speculation about where he's going. Mundo's link and ESPN's video report.

I would like to see him at a "big" club. I think he has a successful managerial future ahead lf him. Wouldn't nullifying his contact practically means that he has already agreed terms with a club?

... and here I was talking about a "long" managerial future ahead of him. I thought him to be in the low 40s or so judging by his looks.

Yep. Even more so, agreeing to a termination fee which is supposedly higher than $1.5MM means he's walking into something at least bigger; offer in hand. I wouldn't think he has signed anything yet though. I wouldn't think he's that single minded. :P

And he's going to Sevilla. Confirmed. Great move for both parties.

Great football from Chile, he has some interesting ideas for football but it's a risk to hire him! It's like Bielsa, he can make miracles but he can also be a disaster! He never coached in Europe at the age 56, worthy risk from Sevilla.

I'm looking forward though for PSG+Emery project, it's quite interesting

I think Sampaoli and Bielsa are two different breeds. I always had the impression Bielsa, like Magath, were close to their roots as both did not start their careers as football coaches but rather physical trainers. You can tell from their training methods that is what they demand from their players.

Sampaoli, like Guardiola, is a Bielsa follower and adept student. Like Guardiola however, he doesn't demand players to run marathons for 90 minutes but to press high and destroy build ups at their outset.

I had a funny feeling once after talking to him while he had an stint as coach for a local team and he transformed them into a 4-3-3 with the three forwards pressing the heck out of CBs. Years later while Chile had a friendly vs Germany I remember seeing the same exact three man pressing groups on Boateng and Co and just thought, signature Sampaoli style.

Sampaoli is an attacking minded coach with a great midfield strategy and compact formations who demands nothing less than 90 mins of hell to his opponents. I think that tactic will play great on the local league. Whether he keeps Sevilla winning it in Europe will be an interesting challenge as well.

Sampaoli to Bayern, not to stupid Dortmund. In both cases he speaks neither English nor German.
