Lol, im down for having Shaqiri as the new #10, personally I don't know who I want as Bayern's next #10. Personally i always felt its a number the coaches should give out and it shouldn't be just asked for by a player...

Normally the jersey number just shows the position you play #4-#5 - CB, #9-CF e.t.c
So actually the coach should give the numbers

Lol, yea i know but i think since number 10 is always highly coveted i wouldnt want some wannabe player to ask for it and get it. Personally my favorite number is 12

I never make a big deal out of jersey numbers. The player makes the number famous, not the other way around.

When I play for any team I always pick the 24.

Mario Gotze should get it once Robben leaves

I knew this topic would come up again as soon as Gotze confirmation popped up today.
He's like 20 only. I guess Mueller deserves it more.
Maybe 7 to Gotze in 3-4 years when Rib decides to hang his boots.

Or may be Mueller might continue with his choice and 10 to Gotze and 7 to Shaqiri.
I read in a post before how youth players tend to hold on to their numbers. It's depends on them.

He picked up 7 for NT though.

Kroos...ulli promised him that number few years ago when he was still a youngster...but than Robben got it.

I guess it will be between him and Gotze.

Or stays with Robben.
