I started supporting Bayern at a time where they donned such kits. Due to the nostalgic feeling it gives me, I love it.

^ I would say it's right but FC Basel right not FC Bayern right.
The stripes or may bethe stripes' width just doesn't feel right.
Probably the only time we had red-blue vertical stripes.
I would rather go for the other style that was very prevalent with the whole sleeves or only the top-half was blue.
I would take this anytime.

Well, isn't the one Mathhaus is wearing the top one you have shared?
Plus I said vertical stripes. May be I should've mentioned even distribution too.
It's just what quaazi said. Red-blue can be made to look better together.
And the one linked earlier looks pretty much like a Basel kit so the uniqueness factor is lost there.
We do use darker colors but that still doesn't make it any less similar.
