Yes, it was LvG... we didn't have a good start... we qualified in the last game against Juve away. That article was written in November.

Wow 7 years ago! That was one of the most unexpected seasons ever. It looked like "same shit, different coach" when this article was published... actually even worse after losing vs Bordeaux and almost being eliminated in the group stage of the CL.
We needed a win away vs Juve in the last game and we were losing 1-0! I think we all thought that was LVG's last hour as Bayern coach back then... then Olic, Butt, Gomez, and Tymoschuk scored for one of my fondest CL memories and we never looked back and ended up with one of our best seasons in history. That day is very clear in my memory, including events before the game.
People often mention the 2013 team, but the 2010 team were possibly the biggest comeback kings I've ever seen.

Well, I kinda agree... Just that the class of 2013 were such beasts they barely needed a comeback...

Of course... Not diminishing them in any way. No team in footballing history has ever won a treble more convincingly and when you add Dortmund and 2012 to the mix you have a very special story. 2010 is very often completely forgotten though (possibly because of 2011).

That boast is about international titles (which imo makes more sense) but as far as I know they have been overtaken.
EDIT: Milan have 18 international titles, second to Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Al Ahly with 20. Real can go up to 21 if they win the CWC.
